IBOM UNITY PARK

Also known as Cenotaph to the indigenes of Uyo, Unity Park serves as a public park and cenotaph for fallen heroes. The Unity Park serves as a multipurpose centre playing host to different activities on Saturdays from weddings and football matches to yoga. The Armed Forces Remembrance Day holds here annually, making it a significant cultural and historical landmark.

GODSWILL AKPABIO INTERNATIONAL STADIUM

The Godswill Obot Akpabio stadium is a magnificent sight to behold. The design and facilities found in the Godswill Akpabio stadium put it on the same pedestal with many international stadiums. The stadium is popularly referred to as "The Champions' nest" as it serves home to the super eagles of Nigeria. When not in use for football-related activities, the stadium hosts various cultural, religious and social events. The 30,000 seater multi-purpose sporting complex was modelled in the image of the Allianz Arena.
